Nov. 5, 1997 FSU Takes on No. 1 North Carolina in First RoundWINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Florida State women's soccer program (8-11, 0-7 in the ACC) will once again meet up with No. 1-ranked North Carolina in the first round of the ACC Women's Soccer Championships Thursday, November 6 at 1 p.m. at Spry Stadium on the campus of Wake Forest University. The Seminoles, seeded No. 8 this year, fell to the perennial No. 1 seed Tar Heels 9-0 in 1995 and 7-1 in '96. UNC has won the last eight championships and nearly 15 straight National Championships.
