The Tribe scored their second most points of the season in a 51-17 win at Carter-Finley Stadium in 1996...the defense scored two touchdowns as Byron Capers recovered a blocked punt in the endzone and Shevin Smith returned a 61-yard interception...Warrick Dunn rushed for over a 100 yards and one touchdown...back-up quarterback Dan Kendra threw two touchdowns, his first as a Seminole...the Tribe scored their largest margin of victory in any ACC game, 60 points, in a 77-17 win over the Wolfpack in 1995...the 77 points were the most ever by an FSU team...Bobby Bowden holds a 6-1 career record against NC State, including a 1-1 mark while at West Virginia...FSU leads the all-time series with the Wolfpack 13-4...the Seminoles have defeated NC State by an average margin of 51.6 points since joining the ACC in 1992...five players on the NC State roster hail from the state of Florida...Florida State assistant head coach Chuck Amato is a 1969 graduate of NC State and a three-year letterwinner for the Wolfpack...Amato also coached at NC State for 12 years, beginning as a student assistant in 1968 and working his way up to defensive coordinator...FSU marketing director Kim McWilliams played volleyball for the Pack.
