    The Bobby E. Leach Center

The natatorium at the Dr. Bobby E. Leach Center opened in 1991-92 for the Florida State Swimming and Diving team. Besides an excellent winning percentage for both the men's and women's program and numerous school records, the FSU Swimming and Diving program has enjoyed much success within the state-of-the-art aquatic center

The Leach Center was built to serve the students of Florida State University as a recreation facility. Named after Florida State's Vice President for Student Affairs from 1980-1989, the Center cost $12.9 million to build and was financed through student funds. The building opened at the beginning of 1991 and offers students, faculty and staff of Florida State a variety of recreational space including: the natatorium, gymnasium, spas, racquetball and squash courts, weight training and fitness rooms, indoor track, and other multi-purpose areas.

    Bim Stults Aquatic Center

Named for Florida State’s first swimming coach, who directed the Seminoles from 1949-73, the Bim Stults Aquatic Center pool is an eight-lane by 50-meter pool with two one-meter diving boards, one three-meter diving board and a 10-meter platform. The pool lanes may be reconfigured to represent a 16-lane by 25-yard outdoor swimming pool. The Stults Pool is located in the heart of campus on Woodward Avenue and is utilized from Spring Break through Thanksgiving.
