  FLORIDA STATE BATGIRLS About the Batgirls The FSU Batgirls are a spirit group that contributes to the nationally ranked baseball program. The squad consists of 16 s who support the baseball program during the year. The Batgirls are involved in many service organizations and assists the Department of Athletics with many different aspects of the game. The squad is chosen by interviews conducted by former members and Athletic Department staff. These interviews typically take place in the months of September or October each year. The interviews are open to any FSU full time student that holds at least a 2.5 grade point average.
