FSU Women's Cross Country Team Ranked 2nd In The South Region

Tallahassee, Fla - Results released today ranked the Florida State women's cross country team 2nd in the south region. This region consists of all Division I scools from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi,and Tennessee.

Both the number one and two ranked teams in each region will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships. Holding onto this ranking for the rest of the season will result in the women's team heading to Ames Iowa, November 11th to compete in the NCAA Championships. This is the highest ranking the Lady Noles have ever held in cross-country.

The Florida State men's team is currently ranked 8th in the south region, this ranking ties them with the highest ranking ever held for the men's cross country.
