The Seminole volleyball team returns home Wednesday night to take on the South Florida Bulls in a rare midweek home match. Florida State is 4-0 on the season against in-state opponents with wins over FAU, Jacksonville, Miami and UCF. FSU fell on the road to Duke (1-3) and Wake Forest (0-3) this past weekend and will look to get back to .500 on the season with a win over the Bulls. Junior middle blocker Amanda Santos has totaled 21 blockis in the last four matches since returning from injury. Santos is third in the ACC in blocks averaging 1.33 bpg. Cassie McLaughlin hit a season-high .615 with 16 kills and no errors against the Demon Deacons on Saturday. Senior setter Jennifer Anderson has 620 assists (7.65 apg) on the season and is just 170 assists away from becoming FSU's all-time leader in career assists.

South Florida (10-15, 4-4 C-USA)

Against the Horned Frogs, junior Shameka Mitchell's recorded a 22-kill performance with a .559 hitting percentage to lead the Bulls in the match, while three USF players posted double-digit kills. Freshman Johari Williams came in just behind Mitchell with a career-high 18 kills, followed by senior Fran Pozzi with 14. Pozzi added a match-high 12 digs for her 11th double-double of the season. As a team, the Bulls hit .349 for the match against TCU. Against Houston, USF notched a season-high of 26 total team blocks in the match with 48 block assists. The 48 block assists set a new USF and C-USA record in that category, shattering the previous mark of 40 set by USF on Oct. 15, 1995, against Cincinnati.
