Dig, Set, Spike (What You Need To Know):
• This year's Florida State volleyball team (12-4 overall, 6-1 ACC) reached six ACC wins faster than any another other squad in school history when it beat NC State 3-0 on Saturday (Oct. 7).

• The Seminoles are back on the road this weekend for a pair of ACC contests. First up is a 7 p.m. affair Friday (Oct. 13) at Virginia Tech, followed the next day by a 7:30 p.m. contest at Virginia. FSU is 16-1 all-time against the Hokies. The Seminoles haven't won at Virginia since 2002 during Todd Kress' first season at FSU.

• Florida State set a school record when it limited NC State to just five points in game one Saturday. The previous low was seven, also set by the Wolfpak, on October 17, 2004.

• The Seminoles continue to lead the conference and rank fourth in the country with their .305 hitting percentage. FSU hit over .400 for the seventh time this year with a .472 mark against NC State.

• During the two matches last weekend, junior libero Summer Weissing (Boca Raton, Fla.) had 35 digs to increase her career total to 1,140 and put her just ten back of Nancy Gaspadarek for fourth in school history.
