SOPHOMORE YEAR (2013): -Had a breakout year for the Seminoles, leading the attack with a total of 447 kills. -Was awarded the ACC Player of the Week twice in 2013. Her first career honor came on Nov. 4 after her performances against (then No.12) North Carolina and NC State. In the upset win over the Tar Heels, Walch accounted for 20 kills while hitting .457. She followed that game with an 11 kill (.526) nine-digging effort. The second honor was collected on later in the month on Nov. 25 when she helped the Noles defeat (then No.13) Duke, 3-0 with a 15-kill performance. -For the first time in her career, Walch was named to the All-ACC Second Team before accumulating AVCA All-Region honors and AVCA All-American honorable mention accolades. -Had a career-high for kills (23) in the 3-2 win at Auburn. -Totaled five 20+ kill games in 2013, including one in the 3-2 upset over fifth-seeded Florida in the NCAA Tournament. -Led the Seminoles with 10 double-doubles on in 2013. Walch recorded double-double figures in each of the three matches in the NCAA Tournament. -Walch was named to the NCAA Champaign Regional Team after accounting for 16 kills and 16 digs in the 3-1 loss to Wisconsin in the Sweet 16 round. -Earned Long Beach State Mizuno Invitational and Texas A&M Invitational All-Tournament Teams.
- Was selected to play on the U.S. Collegiate National Team - China Tour in the summer of 2014.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2012): -Earned time in 19 matches and garnered eight starts -Recorded 73 kills and 1.59 kills per set -Put together eight kills and a .294 hitting percentage in just her second start against Cincinnati on Aug. 25 -Season-high nine kills and eight digs in 3-0 victory at Florida A&M on Sept. 1 -Recorded a .455 hitting percentage with six kills in a 3-1 win over Wake Forest on Sept. 28 -Contributed enormously in Florida State's 3-2 comeback win over Georgia Tech, recording seven kills and a .600 hitting percentage over the final three sets -Had eight kills and four digs against Boston College on Nov. 18 -Started the last five matches of the season, including Florida State's two NCAA postseason contests against Hofstra and Purdue -Competed at the USA Volleyball open tryouts in early February in Colorado Springs, Colo.
HIGH SCHOOL: -Ranked 53rd among the 2012 recruiting class signees in PrepVolleyball.com's senior class ratings -Guided Martin County to the Region3-7A championship as a junior, averaging 6.5 kills per set -Recorded 231 digs, 40 service aces and 28 blocks as a junior, earning state 5A player of the year honors while leading all of Florida in kills -One of four incoming FSU student-athletes who was named to the Under Armour Girls High School All-America Team, taking home AVCA Honorable-Mention honors -Named a MaxPreps.com Second-Team All-American following a senior season in which she led her high school to a Florida Class 7A state championship while being named the state finals MVP -Earned the Florida Dairy Farmers 7A State Player of the Year following her last season at Martin County High, finishing with 623 kills, 45 service aces, 32 blocks and 256 digs -Honored as one of 51 senior finalists for the 2011 PrepVolleyball.com National Player of the Year award -PrepVolleyball.com All-American -Volleyball Magazine/Rox Girls' Fab 50 list -Part of a 2012 recruiting class tabbed as the third-best nationally by PrepVolleyball.com in the spring 2012 -Joined teammates Katie Mosher and Elise Walch in winning the European Global Challenge as a member of the U.S. A2 team in the summer 2011 in Pula, Crotia
