At College of Southern Idaho: Named a 2002 NJCAA First-Team 2002, she led her team in kills per game (2.76) and service aces per game (0.49)...was named to the 2002 SWAC All-Region First Team and SWAC All-Tournament team...led her team and the SWAC in hitting percentage (.396) and blocks per game (2.10)...also finished 10th in the SWAC averaging 2.76 kills per game...was one of the best blockers in the country as a freshman...ranked 1st in the region in blocks per game her freshman year (2001)...finished the 2001 season ranked 4th in the league in hitting percentage, 4th in service aces per game and 12th in kills per game...made Second Team All-Region, and was named a 2001 NJCAA honorable mention All-American.

High School: Attended Carrier High School in Brazil and played on the Minas club team...while playing on the state team for her age group, her team placed second at the national tournament.
