Sophomore Year (2001): Saw action in every match during her sophomore season...best performance by percentage was a .500 showing at North Carolina...set career-high’s in kills (6), attacks (28) and digs (15) against Fresno State in the first match of the season...notched double-digit digs on two different occasions, one against Fresno State and the other against Virginia...ranked fourth on the Lady Seminole squad in set assists...completed her sophomore campaign averaging 1.39 digs per game...showed her strength on the floor picking up 147 digs while also tallying 11 kills and 58 attacks…earned ACC Academic Honor Roll recognition for 2001-2002.
Freshman Year (2000): Showed her strength on the floor, picking up 141 digs in her rookie season...played in 78 games of 22 matches, missing some matches due to various injuries...recorded 23 kills and 33 assists... had double-digit digs on five different occasions, including the opening match of the regular season against FAU, in which she had 10 digs and two assists...picked up a season-high 14 digs against Charleston Southern, 13 digs at Virginia and 11 digs at Duke, before rounding out the season with 10 digs in the Seminoles’ win at NC State...averaged 1.81 digs per game…had a season-high five kills at Virginia...top hitting performance was .286 against Illinois in the championship match of the Lady Seminole Classic…earned ACC Academic Honor Roll recognition for 2000-2001.
High School: A four-year varsity letterwinner at Bishop Montgomery High in Torrance, California...named the 1999 CIF Co-Player of the Year after helping her team to the CIF Division 3 championship and state finals... a two-time all-state honoree...earned first team all-CIF honors as a junior and was a second team choice as a sophomore...competed at the club level for the Spoilers, who were Volleyball Festival National Champions in both 1996 and 1998...led the Spoilers to a third-place finish at the 1999 USA Volleyball Junior Olympics in 17 Club and garnered all-tournament team honors...excellent student who maintained a 3.7 grade point average.
