Florida State volleyball gets important first victory of the season on the road at one of the nation's toughest opening tournaments in the Comcast Lady Vol Classic

FRESHMAN YEAR (2012):
-Appeared in 76 sets mainly as a serving specialist
-Recorded eight service aces, including two in critical moments as part of Florida State's five-set comeback at Georgia Tech on Oct. 19
-Picked up service aces in consecutive matches versus Cincinnati, FIU and Georgia
-Had career bests of eight digs at Florida A&M on Sept. 1 and versus Virginia at home on Oct. 26
-Accumulated 37 digs overall in 31 matches played

HIGH SCHOOL:
-In her four years at Mount Lebanon High, earned all-section and all-district in every season
-Four-year letterwinner who was named to the Pennsylvania State Tournament Team as a sophomore and the all-state team as a senior
-Helped her team to section championships in her freshman, sophomore and senior years
-Sophomore season was highlighted by a third-place finish at the state tournament
