Volleyball Looks to Extend Streak
THIS WEEK... Florida State Looks To Extend Streak Against Georgia Southern,

FLORIDA STATE LADY SEMINOLES

- Current Streak: Won 6.
- Series vs. Georgia Southern: The Lady Seminoles lead the series 1-0 with the only meeting coming in 1990.
- Series vs. Florida Atlantic: Florida State leads 4-0. The Lady Seminoles swept FAU twice in Tallahassee at the start of last season.
- Series vs. Georgia State: The Lady Seminoles lead the series 3-0. FSU last defeated Georgia State 3-0 in the Gator Invitational in 1992.

Presberry Takes MVP In Home State
Junior outside hitter LaToya Presberry, a native of Detroit, Michigan, put
out her best performance of the year to capture MVP honors in the
All-Sport/Michigan Volleyball Challenge. Presberry blasted 42 kills, dug
41 balls on defense, and picked up 8 blocks at the net over the three
matches.
FSU Rakes In ACC Weekly Honors
Following stellar performances over the weekend, Presberry and Kate Hemlepp
captured ACC Player and Rookie of the Week honors. Hemlepp, in her first
action as a Seminole, blasted 25 kills on a .422 hitting percentage during
FSU's 3 weekend wins.
Arnold Still Sidelined
Laura Arnold will not play Wednesday and is not likely to play this
weekend. Her injured ankle was x-rayed Monday and will be reevaluated
Wednesday.

- The Lady Seminoles and the Owls of FAU have shared an odd out-fo-conference opponent already this season. FAU was defeated by Eastern Michigan 2 weeks ago in Orlando while Florida State swept EMU 3-0 last weekend in the Michigan Volleyball Challenge.
- FAU and GSU are the first 2 of 4 Trans America Athletic Conference opponents for FSU this season.
