FSU's Ali Weber in Semi-Finals at Yellow Jacket Invitational

ATLANTA, Ga. -Florida State's Ali Weber shut out Ivana Belancic of Mississippi State in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the Flight A semifinals of Georgia Tech's Yellow Jacket Invitational at the Bill Moore Tennis Center.

Earlier in the morning, Weber defeated Tech's Sybi Parker 6-4, 6-2 in a completion of Friday's rained out match.

Weber also teamed with Helena Karlsson to advance into the finals of the Flight C doubles, defeating Molly Rollauer and Jenny Ligator of Tulane 8-5 in the semifinals.

In other front draw singles action, Rakina Payne and Christy Travis both advance into the Flight D semifinals after defeated NC State's Francie Barragan 6-3, 6-4 and Kentucky's Lori Heimerl 6-4, 6-1, respectively.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday with the finals in singles and doubles flights.
