TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - While the rest of the Florida State women's tennis team was busy hosting the Seminole Invitational, No. 24 Noemie Scharle and No. 28 Katie Rybakovawere competing at the ITA National Indoor Singles Championship in West Haven, Conn. Scharle will continue in the second round of the singles consolation round at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 7, at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
Scharle opened the day facing Jessie Rhee of Yale in the first round of the singles consolation round. The `Nole defeated the Bulldog 6-4, 6-2 and will now match up against second seeded Aeriel Ellis of Texas.
