WACO, Texas - Freshman Marina Raic rallied to win the last two sets to claim a 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles to lead Florida State to a 7-2 victory over the Baylor Lady Bears. Raic also teamed up with Jessica Balbuena to win at No. 2 doubles, 8-3. The Lady Seminoles, who are in the midst of a week-long road trip, improved to 9-3 with the victory. Other winners included: Alida Gallovits, 7-6, 2-6, 7-5, at No. 1 singles; Kia Asberg, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 5; and Jessica Balbuena, 7-6, 6-4, at No. 6. Gallovits and Nanette Duxin scored an 8-5 win at No. 1 doulbes, while Asberg and Ali Weber won 8-5 at No. 3. Florida State continues its road trip tomorrow with a 2 p.m. match in Houston, TX, against the Houston Lady Cougars.
