March 9, 1998 TALLAHASSEE, FL -- The Florida State women's tennis team improved to an even 5-5 on the season with a 7-2 victory over Houston this morning at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center. The Tribe took five of six singles matches falling only at the number one spot as Ali Webber lost 4-6, 2-6 to Houston's Susanne Andersson. In doubles play, FSU's number two team of Nanette Duxin and Carratala topped Houston's Jane Brown and Sarah Bolle 8-2 and the squad also picked up another victory by default.
