Senior Year (2010-2011)
Was one game away from defeating Southern's Jo'Vanna Gaines 6-3, 5-1 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament before the match was called due to FSU reaching four points needed to clinch the match...In the second round victory of the ACC Championships, Suess defeated Caryssa Peretz 6-4, 0-6, 6-3 to tie the match 3-3 against No. 11 Virginia...The victory over Peretz extended a program record 104th win in singles for Suess...Defeated Anny Mydlowska 6-3, 6-0 of Wake Forest in the first round of the ACC Championships to become the all-time leader in career singles victories with 103...In the victory over Boston College she defeated Olga Khmylev 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 to clinch the victory for the Seminoles and tie her for first place all-time with former teammates Jessica Sucupira and Lauren McCreless for 102 career victories...In the victory over Wake Forest, she defeated Ryann Cutillo 6-4, 6-2...In the win over Virginia Tech, Suess defeated Shannon Betts 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 to gain the 100th victory of her career...Only two other Seminoles, former teammates Lauren McCreless and Jessica Sucupira have accomplished that feat with fellow senior Katie Rybakova also within reach...Battled hard in the singles match against UCF's No. 104 ranked Klara Vyskocilova and came away with a big upset win with a score of 6-4, 1-6, 6-4... She was victorious after beating UCF's Courtney Griffith 6-1, 6-0... Even though the Seminoles lost to the USF Bulls, she was able to take control in her singles match against USF's Loreto Alonso Martinez and was victorious with a score of 6-3, 6-3... In the loss against the No. 1 Florida Gators, she was unsuccessful in defeating the Florida Gators No. 34 ranked Olivia Janowicz in the singles match losing 6-3, 7-6, (7-2)...In the victory over the Auburn Tigers, she defeated Auburn's Jacqueline Kasler in the singles match with a score of 6-0, 3-6, 6-1...Against Washington in the second round of the ITA National Team Indoors came back from being down 5-1 to win in three sets versus Lina Xu (6-3, 1-6, 7-5)...In the first round of the ITA Indoors defeated Princeton's Katherine Flanigan in straight sets (6-2, 6-3)...Helped the 'Noles win their first dual match of the season against Florida International by defeating Rita Maisak (6-2, 6-2)...On day one of the Seminole Quad, bested Central Florida's Alexis Dorr (6-0, 7-6 (9-7)...Day two at the Gator Invitational, she concluded a wonderful weekend and what Coach Hyde called, "The Best Tennis of her Career", when she defeated the #30th ranked player nationally in South Florida's Irene Rehberger (6-3, 6-3) during the afternoon round...This was preceded by the dismantling of Florida International's Christine Spenceley (6-2, 6-2) during the morning round...Got past Kansas State's Vera Shkundina (6-7,6-2,6-1) during the consolation round of the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships...On day three, lost to teammate No. 64 Katie Rybakova, to finish second in her flight at the Fall Seminole Quad...On day one of the Seminole Quad defeated Mississippi's Stroet by coming from behind (1-6, 6-4, 6-3) and Georgia Tech's Blau (7-5,6-2) in round two...Opened singles action for the year at the Furman Classic where she took home fifth place by defeating Furman's Amanda Murray (6-1, 7-6) and Northwestern's Stacey Lee (6-1, 7-6).
Along with teammate Noemie Scharle, defeated Southern's Mohammed and Gaines 8-3 to clinch the doubles point during the first round of the NCAA Tournament... Along with Scharle, the two defeated Kikuchi/Corning of Boston College to clinch the double point victory...With the help of Noemie Scharle, the two defeated the nation's No. 14 doubles tandem Katryn Talbert and Kayla Duncan of Wake Forest 8-5...Despite the loss against the Clemson Tigers, the Seminoles were able to get the doubles point starting with Suess and Noemie Scharle defeating Maria Belaya and Nelly Ciolkowski with a score of 8-2...With the help of Noemie Scharle, they defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets No. 70 ranked tandem of Sasha Krupina and Elizabeth Kilborn with a score of 8-6... Posted the Seminoles lone doubles victory by defeating Miami's No. 42 ranked duo of Kayla Rizzolo and Gabriela Mejia 8-4 alongside Katie Rybakova... With the help of Katie Rybakova, they were able to defeat Auburn Tigers Plamena Kurteva and Taylor Schreimann with a score of 8-1 in the doubles match...Partnering with Rybakova, the tandem defeated Washington's Xu/Krsljanin (8-3) in the second round of the ITA National Team Indoors...In the first round of the ITA Indoors, pairing of Rybakova and Suess defeated Princeton's Ashley/Flanigan (8-4)...Had a great showing at the Seminole Quad with Rybakova defeating Cohen/Young of Iowa (8-4) on day two and the No. 44th nationally ranked tandem of Lorbergs/Griffith from Central Florida on day one...Teamed with Francesca Segarelli to defeat South Florida's Bejlkova/Alonso (9-8) and then got together with Manon Veldman to best Johnson/Magali-Holt of Florida International...Together with Segarelli advanced to the third round of the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships by defeating Georgia Tech's Blau/Ngo (8-5) in the first round and Florida's Cercone/Janowicz (8-6) in the second round...Opened the season at the Furman Classic where together with Manon Veldman took third place in their flight by defeating Furman's Bitetti/Maurice (8-4)...They made it to the final by gettting past Furman's Stanford/Porter (9-7) in the earlier round.
Junior Year (2009-2010)
Represented FSU on courts five and six for most of the season.
Kicked off the spring season on a six-match winning streak.
Went undefeated in the first two rounds of the ITA Kickoff Weekend with victories over Hana Tomlajanovic of Virginia 7-5, 7-6 (2) and Gabby Steele of Ohio State 6-2, 6-4.
Posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory against Melanie Aguirre of the University of North Florida in the first round of the NCAA Championship.
Remained undefeated in both home fall tournaments (Seminole Quad Tournament and Seminole Invitational) with a record of 8-0.
Overall singles record of 26-18 (10-4 fall and 16-14 spring).
Was 5-3 in the fall with partner Lauren McCreless.
Upset No. 22 Ormond/Stanivuk of Baylor University at Riviera/ ITA All-American Championship 8-5 alongside Lauren McCreless.
Went undefeated at the Seminole Quad Tournament with partners Amy Sargeant and Jessica Sucupira with a 4-0 record.
Overall doubles record was 18-24 (10-5 fall and 8-19 spring).
Sophomore Year (2008-09):
Became an integral part of the Seminoles success on court four.
Almost went undefeated in the fall season with a 10-1 record.
Defeated No. 44 Christy Striplin of Georgia Tech 4-6, 6-0, 6-4.
Posted a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Whitney Chappel of Auburn at the NCAA Tournament.
Overall singles record was 27-10 (10-1 fall and 17-9 spring).
Mostly played on court one during the dual-match season with different partners.
Went 3-2 at the Northwestern Invitational alongside Noemie Scharle and Ania Rynarzewska.
Overall doubles record was 13-23 (6-5 fall and 7-18 spring).
Freshman Year (2007-08):
Topped off a successful freshman season by sliding into eighth place on the Seminoles' Top 10 Dual Match Single Season Win Percentage list.
Surpassed 20 singles wins in her first season with the Garnet & Gold recording a 31-9 (10-4 fall and 21-5 spring) overall record including an 18-5 dual match mark and a 10-3 ACC record.
Played mostly on court six where she secured 15 wins including two victories in the ACC Championship over Boston College and Miami.
Posted her best win of the season over Georgia Tech's No.39 Kirsten Flower on court five with a 7-5(2), 6-3 victory that put the Seminoles within one point of defeating the Yellow Jackets.
Posted a 23-7 (7-1 fall and 16-6 spring) overall record with a 14-5 dual match mark during her first season.
Went undefeated at the ACC Tournament with senior Carolin Walter with three wins over Boston College, Miami and Duke.
Also secured a major first-round win over Samford's Morgan/Mallory tandem 8-4 in the NCAA Tournament.
Played mostly on court two where she notched a 6-3 mark but was undefeated (4-0) on court three.
Was 7-1 during the fall with various partners.

Three-time state champion in 2000, 2001 and 2003.
Reached the quarterfinals in doubles at seven different tournaments in 2005-06.
Achieved WTA ranking of 1300 singles and 850 in doubles.
