HIGH SCHOOL: Took part in the 2004 US Olympic Trials, postinf a time of 2:07.89 in the 200 free...Earned All-America status in both the 200 and 500 freestyle...Finished off her prep career by being named MVP of the North Carolina 4A meet by capturing four state titles while helping Providence High School to its second team title in three years...Won individual titles in 200 and 500 freestyle, posting times of 1:05.07 and 4:58.08, respectively...Also took part in the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays...Picked up Swimmer of the Year honors from the Charlotte Observer as well as PHS Athlete of the Year and United State's Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award...The Southwestern Conference record holder in the 200 and 500 freestyles, she won both events at the conference meet all four years and was named team MVP in each of her four seasons...Loan state title during her junior campaign was a gold medal in the 200 freestyle...Earned her first Swimmer of the Year honors from the Observer as a sophomore when she captured two state titles, winning the 500 free while taking part in the 400 freestyle relay...High school coach was Sandy Martin while Dave Gibson was her club.

PERSONAL: Born September 7, 1985...Undecided on major...Daughter of Duke and Toni Oxford...Swam on the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club with fellow freshman Stacy Rademacher and sophomore Mark Nicholls.
