ALL-ACC
NCAA ZONE QUALIFIER
2003-04: Earned All-ACC honors during her first year with the
Seminoles as a valuable part of a tremendously strong diving
team...Became the second member of her family to earn All-ACC
honors with her second-place career-best score of 500.35 on the
three-meter board at the conference championships (Feb. 18-
21)...Also scored points for FSU by taking fifth on the one-meter
board with a score of 274.40...Went on to score a pair of top-15
marks at the NCAA Zone "B" Championships (March 12-13) with a
score of 509.70 (14th-place) in the one-meter and a three-meter
tally of 470.60 (11th)...Started her collegiate career off with a
bang, winning both the one and three-meter boards against Miami
and Florida A&M (Oct. 10)...Posted the third-best score in the
conference and surpassed the record set by her All-America sister
Chelsie--a record that was broken earlier in the year by Courtney
McClow--with a 338.25 on the three-meter-board versus North
Carolina State (Jan. 9)...Also topped her older sister with a onemeter
composite score of 311.20 against Florida International and
FAMU (Oct. 18)...Only finished lower than third once in 14 events
with eight victories.
HIGH SCHOOL: Captured the 2001 and 2002 state
championships...Set the state record with a score of
556.00...Brought home a trio of national championships (200-02),
earning her All-American honors...Took home regional and zone
championships in 2003...Seven-time member of the U.S. National
team...Dove for Team Orlando, along with fellow FSU diver
Camille Akridge, for Lerew's father Jay.
PERSONAL: Born July 1, 1985...Majoring in Business...Daughter
of Jay and Wendy Lerew...Sister Chelsie was an All-America diver
for the Seminoles.
