Two Sweeps at Fiesta on Siesta

Seminoles Sweep Webber and FGCU on Day 1 of event

Sophomore Season (2012)
A strong setter and defender...Ranked second on Seminoles in digs (6.00) and third in attacks (11.26) per set...Compiled a record of 31-11-1 overall, including a 14-1 mark in dual matches...Played much of the season at the Nos. 4 and 5 positions...Tallied a 12-2-1 record with Caitlin Haworth...Captured two pairs tournament titles...McGregor and Haworth won the "Silver" pairs bracket at the FSU Sand Tournament (March 25)...Took first along with Fatma Yildirim in the "Siesta" pairs tournament at the Fiesta at Siesta Key (April 14)...Competed in one match with Yildirim on Court 5 at the AVCA Collegiate Sand Volleyball National Championships (April 27-29).

Competed for Lake Sumter Community College as a right side hitter and a setter in 2010-11, earning All-Mid-Florida Conference First Team accolades as a member of the indoor volleyball squad... She led her team with 416 assists, 33 aces and a near 25 percent hitting efficiency...In the National Junior College Athletic Association final rankings, McGregor was 27th in aces per set and 48th in assists... Paired with current teammate, Aurora Newgard, to win the USA Volleyball National Beach Volleyball Junior Championships in 18-and-under age division in 2009...Has won over 75 beach volleyball tournaments and is undefeated in Florida juniors since 2006...Captured the USAV National Junior Beach Tour Championship in 2008...Grabbed a bronze medal at the High Performance Nationals...Earned a silver medal at the USA Junior National Tour Beach Volleyball 20-unde division event in Huntington Beach, Calfi., in 2009...Also played basketball and was named the indoor volleyball team MVP and captain in 2009 at South Lake High School.
