Seminoles Head South To Take On The Knights

April 8, 2008

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. - Following a long weekend of delayed flights and chilly weather in Maryland, the 31-15 Florida State softball team will head south for a doubleheader with the University of Central Florida on Wednesday, April 9, with first pitch set for at 4:00 p.m.

In a three-game conference series with Maryland over the weekend, the Seminoles went 1-2 with their solo win credited towards freshman pitcher Sarah Hamilton with a save by sophomore Terese Gober.

On the road at non-tournament events this season, FSU is 7-2 but is undefeated at the UCF Softball Complex in Orlando, Fla. The Seminoles split the home doubleheader last season and the only other loss to the Golden Knights came on JoAnne Graf Field in 2005.
