Weekend Forecast Moves Up Game Times For FSU Softball's Sunshine State Tournament

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -

With temperatures predicted to be below freezing for a major portion of the weekend, Florida State athletics department officials have moved up the game times for this weekend's Sunshine State softball tournament.

The No. 22 Seminoles, who come into the tournament at 5-0, will play their first game at 3:30 p.m. on Friday against Jacksonville, followed immediately with a 5:30 p.m. contest against Kansas. Then on Saturday, Florida State will play South Carolina at 1:30 p.m. and Memphis at 3:30 p.m. Both of Saturday's game can be viewed on ACC Select streaming internet video and Friday's games can heard through streaming internet radio. Friday, February 16
9:30 a.m. Memphis vs. Jacksonville
11:30 a.m. Kansas vs. South Carolina
1:30 p.m. Memphis vs. South Carolina
3:30 p.m. Florida State vs. Jacksonville
5:30 p.m. Florida State vs. Kansas

Saturday, February 17
9:30 a.m. South Carolina vs. Jacksonville
11:30 a.m. Jacksonville vs. Kansas
1:30 p.m. Florida State vs. South Carolina
3:30 p.m. Florida State vs. Memphis
