Feb. 23, 1998 TALLAHASSEE, FL -- Freshman ace Jennifer White (7-1) threw a one-hitter as the the Florida State softball team defeated Florida A&M for the second time in four days with a 6-0 victory this evening at Lady Seminole Field. The Seminoles improve to 11-1 on the season while FAMU falls to 8-9 on the year. Centerfielder Dana Bailey went 2-for-3, including a double, and drove in three runs for Florida State. The game was scoreless until the FSU fourth. The Tribe scored three runs in both the fourth and sixth innings. Florida State now holds a 56-1 advantage in the all-time series vs. FAMU. FSU will host Troy State tomorrow in a doubleheader beginning at 5:30 p.m., at Lady Seminole Field.
