GAME HIGHLIGHTS 2002: Thrust into the starting line-up immediately at third base and went on to start 42 games as a freshman…one of the team’s best hitters against lefties with a .400 average…finished in the top five on the team with a batting average of .423 when leading off an inning…also amongst FSU’s leaders as she successfully advanced runners in 53% of her opportunities…one of only five Seminoles to finish the year with more walks than strikeouts…began her FSU career with a solid first week...posted a perfect fielding percentage in seven chances and started her Seminole career off versus Georgia Southern by going 1-for-2 with a run scored...singled and scored in the third putting FSU up by four runs...picked up her second career hit in a 2-0 win in game one of a doubleheader versus Mercer…had a productive first outing against Florida Atlantic by going 1-for-2 and drawing two walks...also recorded four assists...showed her patience at the plate when she went on to record another walk versus No. 9 Washington and Louisville...led the squad with eight assists for the weekend…scored a run and drew a walk versus Syracuse then had her first hit of the weekend versus Penn State…finished the Seminole Classic off with her best game against St. John’s going 1-for-2, scoring a run and was credited with a sacrifice…versus Dayton she went 1-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI….the RBI was the first of her FSU career…at the Troy Cox Classic, she had just one strike out in 10 at bats and had three multi-assist games….had a pinch-hit in the seventh inning versus Kansas with FSU down 4-2. She drew a walk and eventually scored the tying run…had one of her most consistent weeks at the plate at the Kia Klassic and had to do it while adjusting to a new position at shortstop…she had hits versus three ranked teams (No. 6 Oklahoma, No. 9 Fullerton and No. 13 Washington)…had her best game in FSU’s most important game of the Buzz Classic. She was the only Seminole to get more than one hit (2-for-4) in a 2-1 11-inning loss to No. 25 Ohio State…versus Georgia Tech, Lindheim hit .333 and played solid defense at shortstop with two infield assists…came in as a pinch hitter in Florida State’s upset of No. 1 UCLA at the College World Series. High school: Nominated for Athlete of the Year honors at El Toro High School for four consecutive years…received special recognition for All-South League junior year and received 1st team All-Sea View League senior year…named first team All-Seaview League in 1998-1999 after recording a league-high .388 batting average…garnered second team All-Seaview League and most improved player in 1997-1998...senior captain...All-CIF Southern sectional in California.
