2004: A four-year starter at shortstop...Was off to the best start of her career before injuries set in and wiped out almost half of her season...her fractured wrist caused her to miss 26 starts and was not able to hit for more than a month...shown more home run power last year than ever before as her six homers last season were more than her career total coming into the the time George hurt herself, she had just wrapped up a place on the NFCA Leadoff Classic All-Tournament team with a huge tournament including a walk-off home run against the Gamecocks in the tournament semi-final...Had a two-run homerun in the top of the fourth that won the game for FSU against Washington at the WCWS.
2004 WCWS Highlights: Started in all three games at the WCWS...Hit .111 in nine at bats...Had one run, one hit, one RBI and a homerun versus Washington...Recorded a .900 fielding percentage... Had a two-run homerun in the top of the fourth that won the game for FSU against Washington at the WCWS...She and teammate Veronica Wootson appeared at the plate more than any other Seminole (9)...Earned a respectable slugging percentage of .444.
2004 NCAA Regionals Highlights: Florida State's fourth leading hitter with a .353 average and tied for second on the team with six hits during the Seminoles' five games played...began the championship on the right foot with two hits in three at bats and one RBI in the Seminoles' opening round victory over Long Island...a first inning single as the Seminoles scored what proved to be the game-winning run early on...a fifth inning RBI single scored Natasha Jacob to give the Seminoles their final margin of victory at 4-0...a single in three at bats in Florida State's victory over Cal State Northridge in round single in three at bats in the first championship game...singled and was stranded at third in the Seminoles' half of the seventh as they attempted to tie the game at one...two hits in five at bats in the Seminoles' 5-4 win over Oregon that sent Florida State to the championship round undefeated...walked with one out in the sixth inning and scored on a wild pitch to pull the Seminoles to within 4-2...Florida State added two more runs during the inning to tie the game at four...opened the Seminoles' 12th inning with a single but was thrown out at home later in the inning as she attempted to score the game-winning run...despite being caught at home, George helped extend the inning and allowed the Seminoles to score the game-winning run...among the Seminoles' busiest defenders with 19 chances from her shortstop position.
ACC Tournament Game Highlights: Florida State's starting shortstop who started all three games and played all 19 innings during the ACC Championship...had two hits in nine at bats with one RBI on an infield single to put the Seminoles up 2-1 in the third inning of the Seminoles' 3-2 victory over Georgia Tech in the first round of the hit in three at bats as the Seminoles defeated North Carolina, 8-0, in round two...single to left in the fifth inning to load the bases and helped Florida State score two runs to close out the Tar Heels.
2004 Game Highlights: Had a base hit-RBI in the first game of the season vs. Illinois State (2/7) in the Seminole Classic. Added a hit and a run scored in the next three games of the Classic vs. Louisville (2/7), Minnesota (2/8) and Florida A&M (2/8), scoring twice against the Rattlerettes...hit her first home run of the season, a solo shot, to break open a tied second game at Mercer (2/11)...had a hit and scored twice in the first game vs. Southern Miss (2/15)...hit a single and a double and scored twice, including the game winning run, vs. Florida A&M (2/22)...went 2 for 2 with a home run and a career-high five RBIs in the first game of the NFCA Leadoff Classic vs. Army (2/27). Hit a two-run, bottom of the ninth walk-off home run to defeat South Carolina (2/29) in the Classic...hit a three-run triple and scored twice vs. Florida A&M (4/14)...produced two RBIs on a double at Virginia (4/17) in the second game...she hit a career-high two home runs to go along with a career-high tying three hits as well as two RBIs in game one at Maryland (4/18)...went 1-for-2 with an RBI in the second game of the North Carolina (4/24) twin bill...recorded three RBIs on one hit in FSU's sweep of NC State (5/1)...had a huge game against No. 12 Auburn (5/3) when she went 2-for-3 with two doubles against the Tiger's ace Kristin Keyes...finished the season with her 22 RBI as she went 1-for-2 versus Eastern Michigan (5/10).

2003: All-ACC selection ...George 's play in 2003 was one of the main reasons FSU won 27 straight games to close the regular season ...the sophomore rebounded from an up and down freshman year to become one of the most reliable and consistent fielder 's and hitters on the team ...compared to 2002,George hit 46 points higher, slugged 59 points higher and fielded 40 points higher ...set or tied single season highs for RBIs and home runs ...amongst the team leaders for runs scored, total bases, sac bunts, slugging, hits, triples, on base pct and RBIs ...had more than double the sacrifice bunts of anyone on the team in 2003 ...since April, she hit .357,slugged .589 and had an on base percentage of .429 ...during that span she scored 16 runs, had three doubles, two triples, two home runs,18 RBIs and seven walks ...second on the team with 14 two-out RBIs and tied for third for game-winning RBIs ...had the fourth longest hitting streak for FSU in 2003 ...six multi-RBI games and 12 multi-hit games last year. ACC REGULAR SEASON: Amongst FSU 's leaders in seven categories in ACC games ...led the team in slugging percentage, two-out RBIs and sacrifice bunts ...second in runs scored and total bases and third in RBIs ...fourth in batting average ...ranked amongst the ACC leaders for on base percentage and slugging percentage games versus ACC teams, George was first in the ACC in home runs, slugging percentage and walks ACC games she was second in runs scored and on base percentage, third in RBIs and fourth in total bases ...raised her career fielding percentage in ACC games over 130 points after posting a perfect 1.000 last season ...also raised her career slugging percentage in conference games by an amazing 283 points. GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Recorded her first hit of the season against Auburn along with collecting two RBIs, two walks, and one sacrifice hit ...had a 1 for 2 day with a walk against No. 18 Oregon ...went 2 for 3 with an RBI and another walk against FAMU ...had her best day of the week versus No.8 Georgia going 2 for 4 with an RBI, which capped a two-run comeback in the bottom of the sixth ...hit in three of four games at the Sunshine State Tournament and started the weekend off with a huge outing against Middle Tennessee .George went 3 for 3 with three runs scored and a walk in the opener. Went on to collect hits versus Iowa State twice in the next two days. Her RBI against the Cyclones was her fifth of the year ...hit .375 at the 2003 NFCA Leadoff Classic ...posted an on base percentage of .583 as she drew four walks and recorded three hits ...started with a perfect day by going 2 for 2 with a run and an RBI versus then-No.18 Pacific ...recorded her third hit of the tournament as she went 1 for 3 versus then-No.17 Oregon State ...recorded hits in three straight games versus Mercer, Mississippi State and Syracuse ...her week was highlighted by a 2 for 4 performance with both hits being doubles against the Orangewomen ...went 1 for 4 with three runs scored and three walks in the Troy State doubleheader ...recorded FSU 's only RBI of the week as she went a perfect 2 for 2 with a walk in the Tribe 's opening win over Long Beach State at the Kia Klassic ...had another great outing versus FAMU ,which she has done consistently since arriving at FSU. She went 2 for 4 and scored two runs on top of drawing a walk and swiping a base ...with FSU clinging to a 1-0 lead in game two versus UNC and already having stranded eight base runners, George laced a two-out double that plated two more runs and put the Tribe comfortably in front of UNC 3-0 ...after going 2 for 6 with a walk in a sweep over UCF ,George exploded on the road at Furman the first game, George went 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI. She also had a sac bunt that advanced the eventual game-winning run ...followed up that performance with a 3 for 4 day in game two that included a double, a triple, three runs scored and four RBIs. Sacrificed home the game-winning run on a suicide squeeze bunt for her first RBI of the game. Then came up with the bases loaded and cleared the sacks in one swing with a triple that scored three runs. Had knocked in half of her 16 RBIs in that nine day span ...explode in the series opener with JU .The sophomore went 2 for 2 with a run scored, two RBIs and a double ...against Florida ,she had an RBI hit in game one and scored a run and recorded another hit in game two ...had probably her best defensive series of her career against Virginia ,as her glove work was superb. Also came through at the plate as she scored three runs, drove in a run, recorded a hit and a sacrifice ...had one of her best series of her career in the regular season finale against defending ACC Champions Georgia Tech ...the sophomore led the Seminoles sweep of the Jackets, as FSU became the first Atlantic Coast Conference school to ever go 8-0.George led FSU in runs scored (3),home runs (2),RBIs (3),slugging percentage (2.000),walks (2)and on base percentage (.667).The shortstop came into Sunday 's season finale with two home runs in 352 career at bats but she equaled that number in just four at bats versus the Yellow Jackets .Her first homer in game one came in the fifth inning with FSU hanging on to a 2-0 lead. The shortstop lined a 3-1 pitch over the wall in right field. She then scored a run in the seventh as FSU cruised to a 4-0 win. In game two, FSU was clinging to a 1-0 lead against reigning ACC Rookie of the Year Jessica Sallinger. The sophomore went to right field again as she lofted a two-run shot over the wall to bring home Florida State 's second and third runs en route to a 6-0 win and sweep of the Jackets the ACC Tournament, George tied for third on the team with three RBIs ....tied for the team lead with two RBIs in the Seminoles ' tournament championship clinching victory over Virginia (including the game-winning RBI)and added an RBI in the Seminoles ' victory against Georgia Tech ...reached based twice in three at bats and scored one run in Florida State 's tournament opening victory over Virginia ...had the game-winning RBI in the seventh inning against Georgia Tech in Florida State 's 5-3 victory ...two hits and two RBIs in three at bats including the game-winning RBI in the championship clinching victory over Virginia ...doubled to center field to score Natasha Jacob from second to give the Seminoles a 10-2 lead and gave them a decisive eight-run lead ...defensive gem for the third out in the first inning may have changed the complexion of the entire game. Went high into the air to snare a line drive off of Christina Grimm 's bat and make a snow cone catch after two runs had scored to give Virginia a 2-0 lead. Defensive play came with runners on second and third and two outs and the Cavaliers threatening to blow the game open ...was perfect on 15 total chances as Florida State 's starting shortstop with five putouts and 10 assists ...was one of nine Seminoles with a 1.000 fielding percentage in the ACC Championship.

2002: One of FSU's top newcomers in 2002...led all freshman in every offensive category while starting 69 of 75 games...second on the team in runs scored (39), sacrifice bunts (13) and at bats (207)...third with 102 assists and fourth on the team with 50 hits, two triples, 71 games played, 245 plate appearances and 69 starts...was also in the top five for triples (2), walks (20), on base percentage (.319), RBIs (20) and steals (4)...was a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen bases...led all Seminoles with a .500 batting average in six at bats with the bases loaded...successfully advanced runners nearly 49% of the time while hitting in the one or two hole for 47 games...during the 2002 NCAA postseason, George was in the top five for average and sacrifices...led all six of FSU's newcomers in games played, starts, at bats, runs, hits, doubles and RBIs...recorded the first hit of her Seminole career in the first game of the season versus Georgia Southern...went 1-for-2 with a sacrifice and an RBI versus FAU...hit .500 going 1-for-2 versus No. 22 South Carolina...had her best game of the weekend versus Louisville. She scored a run, drew a walk and recorded an RBI. George also got FSU on the board when she reached on a fielder's choice and then stole third and came home on an errant throw...recorded an RBI on a walk in the seventh...the Seminole Classic was a coming out party for the Fontana, CA native...although she had just three hits, every one was a big one...her walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh won the game for FSU 2-1 versus Maryland. It was her second double of the game...also had a two-RBI triple in the Classic finale versus the Red Storm...had her best week of the season up to that point in terms of batting average and runs scored at the Troy Cox Classic...scored two runs in each game versus NMSU, Texas Tech and Dayton...had multi-hit games versus the Aggies and Red Raiders...led all FSU players with four runs scored at the Sunshine Classic...against Kansas, she went 1-for-3 with two runs. One of the runs was the the Seminole Invitational, George compiled two runs and drew two walks against Iowa State...had a big week at the Kia Klassic versus five ranked teams as she recorded her first homer, scored a team-high six runs, was second on the team with a .476 slugging percentage and third with a .360 on base percentage...rose to the occasion in FSU's biggest games at the Kia...helped move the team to 2-0 in pool play against Rutgers by scoring two runs and recording an RBI...against No. 14 DePaul, she scored three runs and went 2-for-5 with another RBI...went 3-for-6 with a run scored and a stolen base in the Maine doubleheader...had another strong week at the Buzz Classic...scored a run versus Princeton and then finished the week with two big games versus UCF and Troy State. In those two games, she went 4-for-6, scored two runs, had three RBIs and a home run...George earned the title of the new Rattlerette killer as she had a big-time game against FAMU in the team's first meeting of the week...George went 3-for-4, scored a run and drove in the game-winning run...she carried that momentum into game one of the doubleheader versus FAMU...the Fontana, CA native came up with the bases loaded in the third and hit a bases clearing double to give her four hits and four RBIs in her last six at bats against Florida A&M...was on an incredible streak before an injury in the UAB doubleheader sidelined her for the Georgia Tech series...against the Blazers, she extended her hitting streak to seven games and had her eighth RBI in seven games...George hit her second triple of the season and slugged an amazing 1.500 in a game and a half vs. game one against North Carolina, George extended her hit streak to a season high eight games, driving in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fifth inning with a pinch-hit, one-out single up the the doubleheader against Troy State, she batted .667 (4-for-6), scoring five runs with two doubles and two RBIs at the lead-off position...had one of just two doubles for FSU at the 2002 ACC Tournament...opened up NCAA Tournament play versus Auburn by going 2-for-3 against fourth seeded Auburn in a Florida State win...reached base on singles in the third and fifth innings...recorded an unassisted putout with the bases loaded and only one out to help limit the Eagles to one run in the inning...went 1-for-3 with one run scored in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional Championship...singled to lead off the second inning, advanced to second on a Shundra Colzie bunt and scored Florida State's second run on a double to left by Jessica van der Linden...started all four games at the 2002 Women's College World Series...had her best outing in the semi-finals as she recorded a hit and drew a walk off 2001 College Player of the Year Jennie Finch.
