2001: Appeared in 24 games and started two for the Seminoles in 2001…all-state and all-conference as a senior in high school, Armstrong played a valuable role on the bases as a freshman for FSU…scored nine runs as a pinch-runner last sea-son… saw action in three games during the 2001 NCAA Tallahassee Regional and scored a run against Bethune-Cookman in a 6-2 win…made the most of her chances by going 2-for-3 in game two of a doubleheader with Mercer (Feb. 20)… record-ed a stolen base against Tennessee-Chattanooga (Feb. 11).

HIGH SCHOOL: First team all-state and all-conference as a senior…garnered outfield MVP honors senior season…earned MVP tournament honors for Summer World Series as a member of the 2000 World Series Championship Team…received Coach's Award junior year...led region in batting average (.604)…third team all-state and all-conference as a junior…garnered best offensive player freshman and sophomore year…led the district and region in stolen bases as a sophomore and again as a junior…highest district and regional batting average during freshman and junior season...FACA Player of the Year (Class 3A) as a sophomore…was also voted captain and best all-around player for the volleyball team as a senior.
