    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florid State women's soccer team took to the field on Saturday, August 18 in the first of two scheduled intra-squad scrimmages during preseason play. It was the first look at live action for this year's team since reporting to campus just a couple days ago. Twenty-five players are listed on this year's roster including 14 returning letterwinners from last year's College Cup team.

    The Seminoles will return to the pitch on Monday, August 20 for two training sessions at the Seminole Soccer Complex. The first session will begin at 9:00 am with the second coming in the late afternoon at 5:00 pm. Florida State will next travel to Jacksonville on Friday, August 24 for its first exhibition match of the season. The Dolphins and Seminoles will square-off beginning at 1:00 pm at the Ashley Sports Complex on the campus of Jacksonville University.
