TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State soccer fans will have a great opportunity to watch the Seminoles in 2013 as eight regular season matches will air on the ESPN networks this fall as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday, August 8.
Six matches will broadcast live inside the Seminole Soccer Complex and two more on the road. Florida State's first national broadcast will occur on Sunday, August 25 when the Seminoles host Auburn at 1:00 p.m. on ESPN3.
Other home TV broadcasts include matches against defending national champion North Carolina on September 18 (ESPNU/8:00 p.m.), NC State on September 22 (ESPN3/1:00 p.m.), Boston College on October 3 (ESPN3/7:00 p.m.), Maryland on October 20 (ESPN3/1:00 p.m.) and Notre Dame on October 31 (RSN & ESPN3/8:00 p.m.).
FSU's two televised road matches are at Clemson on September 29 (ESPN3/1:00 p.m.) and at Virginia Tech on October 24 (ESPN3/7:00 p.m.).
A total of 82 ACC fall contests will exclusively appear on ESPN networks, including six on ESPNU and 76 on ESPN3. All 82 games will also be available on computers, smartphones, tablets, Xbox and Apple TV via WatchESPN.
The ACC Men's and Women's Soccer Championship games will both be carried live on ESPNU, while both semifinals will be shown on ESPN3.
An additional 15 games will be broadcast on the league's regional sports networks (RSN), which include FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Florida, FOX Sports Indiana, Sun Sports, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, NESN, YES, ROOT SPORTS, and MSG.
Florida State opens the 2013 season at home against Oregon State on Friday, August 23. Admission to every home game inside the Seminole Soccer Complex is free of charge.
