Tori Huster Earns W-League Team Of The Week Honors

Tallahassee, Fla. - United Soccer Leagues announced Thursday, July 17 the W-League Team of the Week for the 13th week of the USL season. Boston midfielder Tori Huster was named to the list after leading the Renegades to victory.
Huster notched the game-winning goal for Boston in a 2-1 victory over the Connecticut Passion. In front of the hometown crowd, Huster broke a 1-1 tie finding the back of the net in the 69th minute of action to give the Renegades the lead for good. The goal was the fourth of the season for Huster in W-League play.
Florida State has a number of Seminole student-athletes competing in the W-League this summer. Three Seminoles are also participating in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL). Here is a look at who is playing and where they are competing before returning to Tallahassee in the fall.
W-League Round-up Bradenton Athletics Northern Virginia Majestics Ottawa Fury Vancouver Whitecaps Washington Freedom WPSL Round-up As the summer season comes to a close, both the W-League and WPSL are heading into postseason play. W-League teams qualifying for the postseason tournament are Vancouver, Ottawa, Washington and Boston. Soccer Plus Connecticut, who is 12-0-0, clinched the North Division of the WPSL en route to a berth in the postseason tournament.
