2001: Teams don’t win without players like Christy Peacock. The senior captain from Lilburn, GA is the most unselfish player on the team and was voted a captain by her teammates despite the fact that she has started just two matches in her career. No Seminole works harder day in and day out than the reserve defender and it is paying off as the senior gets more and more playing time each week. Thought by many on the team to be one of the best one-on-one defender on the team, Peacock has appeared in nine of the last 11 matches and has continually raised the level of her game every week through an undying work ethic.
Baker on Peacock: “One of our senior captains who will challenge for a starting spot in the back. She will compete for a spot wide and she has started some games for us in the past. She has changed her entire college career based purely on her effort and desire. There isn’t a better person and all the positives that come her way during her senior season are well deserved.”
