Coming off of her best college season last year, Murphy creates a number of scoring chances for herself and her teammates. She is continually improving her awareness tactically and that makes her even more dangerous. Her speed and quickness have helped her become one of Florida State's fastest players but she needs to be more consistent in conference play this year.

1999: Continues to improve her game every season...doubled or tripled her productivity in many offensive categories from sophomore to junior year...tied for the team lead in assists with seven...second on the team in points scored with a total of 19...six goals including the first goal Florida State ever scored on the defending national champion Florida Gators...seven assists included three game-winning assists against South Alabama, Auburn and Mercer...tied the team record for assists in the first half of a game versus South Alabama...set Seminole record for game-winning assists in a season with three...third all-time point scorer for Florida State...third all-time leader in shots with 82...fifth all-time in career goals with 13...nine career assists ranks her fifth on the all-time leaders list...tied for third all-time with three game-winning assists

1998: A quick player and great ball handler...used her speed up top to make goals happen...played 21 matches as a reserve player...started in four...had four goals, including a game-winning goal against Stetson...added two assists and 28 shots.

1997: Appeared in all 20 matches, starting in 13...was second on the team with 26 shots...was one of three players with three goals on the season, including goals against Wofford, South Alabama and UNC-Greensboro.

High School: Became the all-time leading scorer during her senior year at Jenks High School...named to the all-state team as a senior...an all-conference and district member all four years...won the state championship with her club team all four years in high school.

Olympic Development Program: Member of ODP Region III Pool (1996-97)...part of the OD program for five years...an honor roll student.
