most of 2005 ranked in the top 20 in the nation in
scoring...finalist for Soccer Buzz's National Player of

as the first FSU players in school history to be
nominated for that honor...an All-ACC first team
selection...named ACC co-player of the week (9/12),
ACC Player of the Week (10/29), Top Drawer
Soccer National player of the week (9/12), to
Soccer America's Team of the Week (8/30) and
SoccerFLA.com's player of the week (8/30)...Kuralay
had the most productive offensive season of any
first-year Seminole in team history...her 16 goals,
nine assists, 41 points and six game-winners all rank
in the top three for single season records at FSU
and are each the most ever by an FSU player in her
first season...no player in FSU history has ever had
as many goals with nine or more assists...her 41
points were the second-most in one season and she
was just two points away from moving into first
place...recorded either the game-winning goal or
assist in nine of Florida State's 20 wins...with her 16
goals, Kuralay ranks third in single season goals and
was just two shy of moving into a tie for first place
...Kuralay came just one game-winning goal shy of
tying the single season record in that category...had
five multi-goal games on the year, which is tied for
the most ever in a single season and already second
on the career list as well...became the quickest
player in FSU history to reach 10 goals when she
got there in the ninth game of the season... led the
Seminoles in goals (16), points (41), assists (9), game-winning
goals (6), shots (94) and shots on goal (38)...
only one player in FSU soccer history led FSU in
every offensive category (points, goals, assists, game-winning
goals, shots and shots on goal) and that was
Emma Breland in 2000...scored the latest game-tying
goal (88:42) and quickest second half goal (45:10) in
team history...equaled an FSU record on three
occasions with two first half goals (Jacksonville, UCF
and Clemson)...the only Seminole to ever score two
first half goals in a conference game...recorded the
12th golden goal in team history when she scored in
the 105th minute at Loyola Marymount...became
the first player in FSU history to record two goals in
a game versus the Gators and to score two career
goals versus Florida as well...her five shots in the
UNC game (9/22) were the most ever recorded by
an FSU player in the series... scored the first goal of
the game four times in 2005...holds single game
highs for points (6), assists (2) and shots (9). (in the
ACC) had just as productive a season in confer-ence
as she did out of it...tied for first in the
conference in game-winning goals in ACC play...
finished second in the conference in shots and shots
per game...was third for goals scored in ACC
matches and points per game in ACC play...was
second for shots taken in conference games among
all ACC players...finished with the fourth-most
points in ACC games as well...scored five goals,
recorded two assists and 12 total points despite
missing one game due to commitments with the
Australian National Team...tied for the team lead
with five goals in ACC play, which were the second-most
ever scored by an FSU player in a single
season of conference play...second on the team with
12 points in conference, which was tied for the
most ever coming into 2005 but is now second
behind Viola Odebrecht...had three game-winning
goals, which were triple the amount any other
player recorded and a new single season record at
FSU...led the team with 41 shots and 16 shots on goal...recorded goals against Clemson, NC State,
Virginia Tech and Maryland....became the first player
in Seminole soccer history to score two first half
goals versus a conference opponent when she did
that October 29 versus Clemson. (in the NCAA
Tournament) started all five of FSU's NCAA
Tournament games...tied for the team lead in
postseason assists...second in tournament play for
goals, points, shots and shots on goal...scored her
16th goal of the year in the second round match
versus Illinois staking FSU to a 1-0 lead...led FSU
with six shots and three shots on goal versus the
Illini...her assist versus Cal was her team-leading
ninth of the year and her third game-winning assist
of the season.
AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL TEAM: STATE/CLUB: Member of the WNSL's Victoria Vision...won the WNSL Rising Star Award for 2000-2001 becoming the first Victorian to win a WNSL award...won the youth National Championship 1999 as a member of the Victorian team...member of the boy's Victorian State U-13 team, which won the National Championship...won the Victorian Women's Premier League in 2000 with Ringwood City and in 2001 with Box Hill.
