Florida State broke on top of Missouri in the 28th minute when it capitalized on the squad’s first chance of the evening. Leah Gallegos dribbled down the right sideline with two Tiger defenders on her the whole way. About two yards from the endline on the right side of the goal, she created space and give herself enough room to send an arching cross to the backpost. George was sitting right there and buried the header to put FSU up 1-0.
