The Noles are looking forward to having Garcia back this year. She suffered a knee injury in high school that caused her to miss the whole 1999 season. A very good technical base and a wonderful shot will allow Garcia to see time as a third forward or an attacking midfielder. She will need to regain her total fitness during the 2000 pre-season after her long rehab.

High School: A four-year letterwinner...an All-County, All-Conference and All-State selection her sophomore, junior and senior years...member of the state champion team all four years...received the Coaches Award as a junior and Most Valuable Offensive Player as a senior...MVP of Senior All-Star Classic...a team captain junior and senior years.

Olympic Developmental Program: Member of the Florida state U-15, U-16 and U-17 teams.

Club: Margate Blitz...team captain for six years...a member of the Florida state champion teams from 1995-98.

Personal: Honor roll and first honors all four years...member of the National Honor Society as a senior...member of the National Latin Honor Society and Junior Classical League as a sophomore, junior and senior...member of S.A.D.D....Born March 26, 1981.
