2002: One of Florida State’s top freshmen, Ferreri saw action in all 23 games…one of just two rookies to play in every match in 2002…played mostly wide in the midfield early in the season but really became a threat when she was moved up top and Jez Ratliff returned to her natural position wide in the midfield…third amongst all freshmen in goals, second in assists, third in points, third in shots and second in game-winning goals…one of only two freshmen to notch a goal and an assist in 2002…seventh-most points on the team, fifth-most goals and third-most game-winning goals…(in the ACC) made a huge impact in conference games recording all three of her points in wins over Clemson and NC State…one of three FSU rookies to appear in every conference game…third among Florida State freshmen in ACC goals, second in ACC assists, third in shots versus conference foes and second in shot and shot on goal percentage… fourth on the team in points in ACC matches, fourth in goals, tied for first in game-winning goals, third in assists and second in shot percentage…(in the NCAA) one of five FSU freshmen that saw action in all three NCAA Tournament games in 2002…(vs. Clemson) helped FSU start the ACC season 1-0 and aided in FSU’s first-ever hat trick versus a conference oppo-nent. Her throw-in led to Leah Gallegos’ first goal of the game and staked Florida State to a 1-0 lead…(vs. NC State) had an absolutely huge game versus the Wolfpack while playing her first extended minutes as a striker. Ferreri got her first career goal and first career game-winner versus NC State. Leah Gallegos sent a long looping ball down the left side of the pitch to Jez Ratliff. The speedy sophomore chased it down and turned to goal. She sent a perfect service to the backpost where Ferreri was waiting. The freshman deflected the shot past the keeper and into the side netting staking FSU to a 2-0 lead.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter for St. Thomas Aquinas and member of the 1999 State Championship team and 2001 state finalists…as a senior, named first team all-county by the Miami Herald and the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel…was named team MVP for four consecutive seasons and was a two-time all-state selection… also named first team all-county as a sophomore and junior playing at forward and sweeper.

ODP EXPERIENCE: A two-time Florida State ODP player.

CLUB: Played with the Coral Springs Storm from 1994-1999 and with Team Boca U-17’s in 2000 and 2001…in 2000, reached the South Region finals with Team Boca and was a member of the Florida State club champions in 1999 and 2000 and runners-up in 2002…was also in the state finals in 1997, 1998 and 2001...

Personal: Daughter of Helen (nurse) and Don Ferreri (computers)…brother Jason is 25 and sister Michelle is 22.
