2002: Freshman has appeared in 21 matches which, is the second-most amongst newcomers this season…her three starts are also the third-most starts by a Seminole rookie this year…started two of the first three games in the Seminole backline but moved up front as the season progressed…has taken three shots this year and recorded the first point of her career on an assist versus UCF. The freshman drove a perfect ball to two Seminole players waiting at the near post and Kristin Boyce slipped the header past the Knights keeper…almost recorded the first conference goal of her career in College Park versus Maryland. Jez Ratliff and Leah Gallegos combined and sent a ball backwards to Shannon Coe at the top of the 18. The freshman pulled the trigger and just missed her first career goal as she went upper 90 at the near post. IN THE NCAA’S: One of five FSU freshmen that have seen action in both NCAA Tournament games in 2002…a key reserve who spells forwards Cindy Schofield, Leah Gallegos and Alli Ferreri. IN THE ACC: Appeared in seven of FSU’s eight conference games and started against Wake Forest…registered two shots in ACC games this season…one of only three Florida State rookies to make a start in an ACC contest this season. HIGH SCHOOL: Named Team MVP at Temple City High School…named first team all-league and second team all-area as a varsity starter for four years…as a freshman, named Rookie of the Year and third team all-league. ODP EXPERIENCE: Participated in ODP with the U-14 District IV team and the U-15, U-16 and U-17 California state teams. CLUB: A teammate of fellow Seminole Leah Gallegos with the vaunted Santa Anita Strikers club team for eight years…won the Surf Cup, summer and winter, four times in a row…participated in regional play in Utah after winning the Snickers National Cup Cal-South.
PERSONAL: Planning on majoring in Business at Florida State…daughter of Bradley and Dominique Coe…born March 24, 1984…chose Florida State over Cal-State Fullerton and Cal-State San Jose.
