FLORIDA STATE IN 2013-14
Amy Bond returns four seasoned veterans and welcomes one of the most talented four-player recruiting classes in school history to the team for her fourth season as the Seminoles' head coach. The Seminoles' line-up will be anchored by a trio of juniors - Laure Castelain, Carlton Kuhlo and Alex Milan - who all were members of Florida State's starting five in the 2013 ACC Championship and NCAA West Regional Championship. The trio has played in a combined 46 career matches, five ACC Championships and four NCAA regional championships. "We feel that we can put any combination of those eight women on the course and be successful. As we get into the spring season we need to have leaders emerge and a consistent group of the best five players rise to the top each week for us to become one of the top teams in our conference," said Bond.
SEVEN SEMINOLES NAMED TO 2013 ACC ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL
Florida State placed seven members of its women's golf team - Laure Castelain, Olivia Hullert, Malin Jansson, Carlton Kuhlo, Alex Milan, Jessica Negron and Mary Beth Ramsay - on the 2012-13 ACC Academic Honor Roll marking the 10th time in the Seminoles' 20-year history in the league that it has placed at least seven players on the conference-wide recognition of its student-athletes. The Seminoles have placed at least seven women's golfers on the ACC Academic Honor Roll in two of the last three years and four of the last eight seasons. A program record 11 players were named to the honor roll during the 2004-05 season. Castelain, Jansson and Kuhlo all earned the honor for the second consecutive season.
MILAN EARNS TWO WINS DURING SUMMER OF 2013

She earned a nine-stroke victory in the West Palm Beach Amateur and took home a one stroke victory in the Kissimmee Amateur. Milan averaged 71.16 strokes in six rounds in winning the championships of the two events.
FLORIDA STATE TO PLAY AGAINST FORMER SEMINOLE AT MO MORIAL
First-year Redlands Community College head coach Andrea Kaelin was a member of the Florida State golf team from 2009-12. She played in eight events during her career as a Seminole. During her Seminole career Kaelin's best round was a 72 at the Cougar Classic in the fall of 2010 and a 43rd place finish at the ACC Championship in 2011. She was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2012. Kaelin was at her best as a Seminole during the 2011 NCAA East Regional as she carded a 73 in the third round of the event to help keep the Seminoles in contention to advance to the NCAA Championship Finals. She earned her degree in professional golf management from Florida State in 2012. Before attending Florida State, Andrea graduated with an Associate's Degree from Redlands where she helped lead the school to back-to-back National Championships in 2008 and 2009.
