On Thomson: A senior leader and one of the most experienced players in all of college golf who will work to take the Seminoles to great heights nationally and in the ACC in her final season at Florida State...is in her fourth season in the Seminoles' starting line-up and has played in one NCAA Championship final, three NCAA regional championships and three ACC Championships...has helped Florida State into the national rankings in each of her first three seasons including a national ranking of No. 14 during her sophomore season...helped lead the Seminoles to a No. 14 national ranking, a 10th place finish in the NCAA Championship finals, a tie for sixth place finish in the NCAA Central Regional Championship and a fourth place finish in the ACC Championship during her sophomore season in 2011...earned her first career individual championship as she earned medalist honors at the Lady Gator Invitational during the spring of 2011...played her best golf as a junior as she averaged a career-low 75.43 strokes in 30 rounds during 10 events...she led the Seminoles in a career best five different events as a junior and finished for the team lead with eight rounds at par or better as a junior...her two rounds of 69 at the Lady Gator in the Spring of 2011 were tied for the best singe round scores of the season among her Seminole teammates...in the line-up for three team championships during her career - the Bettie Lou Evans/University of Kentucky Invitational in the fall of 2009 and the Pinehurst Challenge and the Bryan National Collegiate during the spring of 2010...career best single round score of 67 in the second rounds and career best 36 hole score of 142 came at the Bryan National Collegiate in the spring of 2010...career best tournament score of 210 helped her win the individual championship at the Lady Gator Invitational during the spring of 2011...even par score in shooting a 210 marked the first time in her career she shot even or better in a collegiate tournament...a member of the Western Australia State Junior team in 2005, 2006 and 2007... finished in seventh place in the Aaron Baddeley World Junior Championship in 2004...a long hitter off the tee who is very consistent when she hits her mid and lower irons... named to the 2010 All-Academic Golf team by the Golf Coaches Association of American...named to the 2011 All-ACC Academic Women's Golf Team...averages 76.17 strokes in 77 rounds during 26 events entering her senior season.

Fall 2008: Immediately joined the Seminoles' starting line-up and played in all three of Florida State's events in her first season collegiate season...helped the Seminoles to a fifth place team finish at the Cougar Classic - the first event of her career...played well at the Cougar Classic as she finished with scores of 75-77-74 and a career-low total of 227...averaged 75.66 strokes in finishing in a tie for 47th place in the individual standings...carded season low scores of 74 in the third round of the Cougar Classic and in the first round of the Tar Heel Invitational...tied for second on the team with three scores at 75 or better...carded a two-over par 74 in the first round of the Tar Heel Invitational and was in a tie for 14th place in the individual standings after 18 of 54 holes had been played...averaged 77.89 strokes in nine rounds during three tournaments.

Spring 2009: Played in two tournaments - the ACC Championship and the NCAA East Regional Championship - after a knee injury sidelined her for most of the spring season...suffered a knee injury in late February, had surgery and worked her way back into the line-up for the post season...carded her career best single round score of 73 in the second round of the NCAA East Regional at the Mark Bostick Golf Course at the University of Florida...her 73 in the second round of the East Regional championship allowed her to earn a career-best 151 total for the first 36 holes of the event...was in a tie for 54th place in the individual standings after two rounds of play...best finish of her career (35th place) came in her first career ACC Championship appearance at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C...averaged 79.83 strokes in six rounds during two tournaments.

Fall 2009: A consistent member of the Seminoles' starting line-up who played in all four events and helped lead the Seminoles to the team championship at the Bettie Lou Evans/University of Kentucky Invitational and a pair of second place finishes at the Cougar Classic and the Eat A Peach Collegiate...earned four top 25 finishes including a fall season best 13th place finish at the Kentucky Invitational...at that time it was the best finish of her career...career best three round tournament score of 218 for a tied for 16th place finish at the season opening Cougar Classic...scores of 73-74-71 allowed her to get a jump on the season with the first time in her career carding all three scores of a tournament at 74 or below...as a barometer of good things to come during her sophomore season, five of her 10 single round scores were at or below her best score of 73 during her freshman season...was a total of 22 strokes over par in her four tournaments played as she finished in single strokes over par in each of her four outings...Florida State's second highest finisher with a 221 total at the Tar Heel Invitational...averaged a career-best 74.00 strokes in 10 rounds during four tournaments.

Spring 2010: Played in a career-high seven events and helped lead the Seminoles to a No. 14 national ranking and a 10th place finish in the NCAA Championship finals...finished in a tie for 67th place in the NCAA Championship finals as she helped lead Florida State to the first top 10 finish in NCAA finals play in school history...counted four scores at 76 or better as she helped keep the Seminoles in the top 10 of the standings over each of the four days of the championship finals...was in a tie for 50th place in the individual standings with a 150 total for the first 36 holes of the tournament...helped Florida State advance to the NCAA Championship as a member of the Seminoles' starting line-up as they finished in a tie for sixth place in the team standings in the NCAA Central Regional Championship...best career ACC Championship finish of tied for 28th in pacing the Seminoles to a fourth place finish in the event...bettered her ACC score by 13 strokes, her score v. par by 13 strokes and her individual finish by seven positions in finishing as one of five Seminoles in the top 30 of the individual standings...first career top 10 finish in leading the Seminoles to the team championship at the Bryan National Collegiate...carded her career best scores for a single round (67, second round) and 36-holes (142) and was one stroke from tying her career best for a three round tournament (219)...was in a tie for 29th place after carding a 75 in the first round and moved into a tie for fourth place with her career best 67 in the second round...was one of three Seminoles who finished in the top 10 of the individual standings in the tournament...best career score vs. par (+3) in finishing in her career best position in the standings...the Seminoles defeated seven ranked teams in winning the team championship...finished in a tie for 12th in leading Florida State to the team championship at the Pinehurst Challenge on the famed Pinehurst No. 6 course...first two round scores of 74 and 72 had her in a tie for seventh place in the individual standings and the Seminoles in first place in the team standings...in earning its second tournament championship of the year, Florida State defeated two ACC schools (Maryland and NC State) and two Big Ten teams (Minnesota and Illinois)...her back to back top 12 place finishes at the Pinehurst Challenge and the Bryan National Collegiate marked the first time she had earned top 12 finishes in consecutive tournaments...single season career high scores at 75 or better...averaged 76.91 strokes in 22 rounds during seven tournaments.

Fall 2010: Played in all three of Florida State's tournaments as a member of the Seminoles' starting line-up...best finish of the season came at the Landfall Tradition as she finished in a tie for 22nd place with a season best three round score of 225...Florida State's top finisher on the Seminoles' leaderboard for the first of five times during her junior season...second low single round score of 73 came in the second round of the Lady Tar Heel Invitational and the third round of the Landfall Tradition...averaged 75.78 strokes in nine rounds during three tournaments.

Before Florida State: Graduated from St. Mary's Anglican Girls' School in 2006....took a year off to travel and work in Europe following her high school graduation...an extremely accomplished junior golfer who has competed at very high levels during her entire collegiate career... named to the Western Australia School Girls' Team in 2005 and 2006...earned medalist honors at the Circuit Optima at the PGA Catalunya, Spain and the Ave Maria at the Terramar Golf in Spain in 2007, at the Karrinyup Club Championship in 2006 and the Women's Western Australian Girls' Classic in 2005...a member of the Western Australia Senior Squad from 2004-06...the Western Australia Long Drive champion in 2005...represented Western Australia at the Jack Newton Junior International, the Aaron Baddeley World Junior Championship, the Greg Norman Junior Masters and the MasterCard Junior Masters during her career.
