On Kuhlo: Gained valuable experience in her first season and should be one of the top candidates to fill the line-up spots vacated by the graduations of Maria Salinas and Hanna Thomson as a sophomore...will be one of the five most experienced players on the Seminoles' roster with four events to her credit...helped the Seminoles to one top five (third place team finish at the Bryan National Collegiate) and two top 10 team finishes (fifth place finish at the "Mo" Morial Tournament and a 10th place finish at the Northrop Grumann Regional Challenge) during her freshman season...the best event of her first season as a Seminole as she set personal standards for single round score (74 in the third round), score vs. par (+17), total score (233) and best finish (29th place) in the first event of her collegiate career...the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Big Bend Player of the Year by the Tallahassee Democrat who chose to stay close to home and play her collegiate golf at Florida State...won the individual city championship in each of her four seasons as a member of the Chiles High School varsity team...finished in fourth place in the individual standings of the 2010 state championship tournament during her senior season...averages 80.75 strokes in 12 rounds during four events entering her second season as a Seminole...

Spring 2012: Played in a career high three events and helped the Seminoles earn their seventh consecutive NCAA Championship bid...with Kuhlo in the line-up, Florida State earned two top 10 team finishes including a third place finish at the Bryan National Collegiate...Florida State's finish in the Bryan National Collegiate was a determining factor in the Seminoles earning a high regional seed...helped Florida State finish ahead of four ACC teams in the event - North Carolina, Wake Forest, Virginia and NC State and ahead of five teams ranked ahead of it in the national rankings: No. 6 North Carolina, No. 19 Ohio State, No. 21 NC State, No. 24 Michigan State and No. 25 Virginia...played as an individual competitor in the AllState Sugar Bowl Classic in New Orleans...counted three of her nine individual scores toward the team score including two at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge...averaged 81.78 strokes in nine rounds during three events...

Before Florida State: Graduated from Chiles High School in Tallahassee in 2011... one of the top junior golfers in the state of Florida who finished in third place at the Lemon Bay Golf Club Tournament in 2009 and placed fifth at the 2010 Sara Bay Tournament...the first golfer from Chiles High School in Tallahassee to earn a golf scholarship to a Division I school...the Tallahassee city champion in each of her four seasons and played in three state championship tournaments - two as an individual and one (as a senior) with her teammates...finished in 10th place as a junior and in fourth place in the individual standings as a senior...led Chiles to the city championship as she won the individual championship with a one under par score of 71 as she led the Timberwolves to a 13 stroke advantage over Maclay in the team standings...led Chiles to the 2010 District 2-2A championship as she won the individual district championship by an amazing 14 shots...shot an even par 72 in the event at the Panama City Country Club...finished in 17th place at the state tournament with a score of 161 as a sophomore...won the city championship by eight stokes with a score of 76 in 2008...at the time her score was the best ever at the Tallahassee City Championship Girls' Golf Tournament...finished in second place at the 2010 American Junior Golf Association qualifier at Bluffton, S.C...played four seasons of flag football and was the captain of the JV team before moving up to the varsity during her prep career...also a member of the weightlifting team at Chiles...

Personal: Born August 21, 1993...Carlton is the daughter of Cheryl and Lee Kuhlo...was born in Greenville, S.C...won the Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award following her senior season...graduated with honors and received a cord during her high school graduation ceremonies as a commended scholar...very active volunteer for the Special Olympics.
