The women's golf team took some time off for the holiday season.
On Kaelin: A three-year member of the Florida State women's golf team whose efforts helped the Seminoles play in three consecutive NCAA Championship tournaments...played in eight events during her career and is characterized by the coaching staff and every player she played with as `the best teammate they ever played with'...in addition to helping the Seminoles to three consecutive NCAA appearances she helped the Seminoles into the national top 25 rankings in each of her three seasons at Florida State...the shining moment of her Seminole career came in the third round of the 2011 NCAA East Regional Championship as she led the Seminoles with a one over par 73 to help the Seminoles keep their position as a top eight team in the regional...the Seminoles finished the event tied with Vanderbilt for the final spot to advance to the NCAA Championships and lost to the Commodores in a one hole playoff...played three seasons at Florida State after completing two seasons at Redlands Community College...played as a member of the Seminoles' starting line-up in a career high eight events during the fall 2010 and spring 2011 seasons...helped the Seminoles to a fifth place finish in the 2011 ACC Championship and to a tied for eighth place finish in the 2011 NCAA East Regional Championship...the Seminoles were on the cusp of advancing to the NCAA Finals but fell in a playoff to Vanderbilt...helped Florida State to four top five finishes in 2010-11, including a second place team finish at the spring 2011 Lady Gator Invitational and a third place finish in the spring 2011 Lady Puerto Rico Classic...played in her first career ACC Championship and her first career NCAA Regional Championship in the spring of 2011...best round of her career - an even par 72 - came in the third round of the Fall 2010 Cougar Classic - the first event of her Seminole career...top 36 hole score of 153 came in the first two rounds of the Spring 2010 Lady Gator Invitational while her best three round tournament score of 228 came in the Fall 2010 Cougar Classic...best career finish of 43rd helped Florida State finish in fifth place in the Spring 2011 ACC Championship...earned All-American First Team National Junior College Athletic Association honors in 2009...helped lead Redlands to a pair of National Championships in her two seasons there (2008 and 2009)... finished in third place in the individual standings at the 2009 NJCAA championship tournament...played in the 2008 USGA Women's Amateur Championship...named to the 2012 ACC Academic Honor Roll...averaged 79.50 strokes in 24 rounds during eight tournaments during her three-year career as a Seminole.

Fall 2010: Played in the first two events of her career - the Cougar Classic and the Landfall Tradition - as she earned her way into the Seminoles' starting line-up for the first time in her career...helped Florida State begin the season on a strong note with a sixth place finish in the team standings at the season opening Cougar Classic...earned the best single round score of her career as she carded an even par 72 in the third round of the Cougar Classic...totaled a career-high tying three birdies and 12 holes at par in finishing at even par in the round...was never more than one stroke above par and spent the majority of the round below par as she carded back to back birdies on her 11th and 12th holes of the round...career best two scores of 75 or better in the Cougar Classic...the third best single round score of her career came as a two over par 74 in the second round of the Landfall Tradition...averaged a career-low 76.83 strokes in six rounds during two tournaments...
Spring 2011: Helped lead Florida State to the NCAA East Regional tournament and a national ranking as high as No. 28 as she played in the Seminoles' starting line-up in six of their seven events...played in her first career NCAA Regional Championship and her first career ACC Championship...helped lead the Seminoles to a tied for eighth place finish at the NCAA East Regional Championship - the Seminoles lost a one hole playoff and missed on qualifying for the NCAA Championship finals by one stroke...also helped Florida State to a fifth place finish at the ACC Championship...led the Seminoles in the third round of the NCAA East Regional Championship with the best round of her career - a 73 to keep Florida State in contention to advance to the championship finals...tied her career high with three birdies and totaled 11 holes at par in shooting her team best 73...was never more than two strokes over par during the round and was one under par with three birdies over her final 13 holes of the round...her score of 73 in the final round of the championship was nine strokes below her average of 82 in the first two rounds of the event...helped lead Florida State to a fifth place finish as she earned a career best 43rd place finish in the ACC championship...consecutive rounds in the 70's in the first and second rounds of the Lady Gator Invitational...averaged 80.33 strokes in 18 rounds during six events...

Before Florida State: Graduated from Redlands Community College in El Reno, Okla., in 2009 with an Associate's Degree in general studies...graduate Cum Laude and as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society in 2009 from Redlands...earned Vice President's Honor Roll accolades at Redlands in the spring and fall of 2008...helped lead Redlands to the NJCAA National Championship in both 2008 and 2009...finished in third place in the individual standings at the 2009 NJCAA championship in leading Redlands to their second consecutive national championship...earned medalist honors at the 2009 NJCAA Regional XII Tournament...finished as the second runner-up in the individual competition at the Northwood University tournament in 2009...finished in a tie for fifth place at the Texas A&M Commerce Tournament and in sixth place in the individual standings at the Mary Hardin Baylor tournaments, also, during her second season at Redlands...a two-time all-conference selection as a sophomore and a junior at Fleming High School.
Personal: Born July 5, 1988...Andi is the daughter of Chris Kaelin and Patrice and Les Yamato...began playing competitive golf as a sophomore in high school...has aspirations of becoming a teaching professional or golf coach when her playing career is over...selected Florida State over Oklahoma State and Coastal Carolina on the Division I level and several NCAA Division II and III and NAIA schools...majored in professional golf management and will earn her degree in August of 2012.
