On Böhmer: Gained an incredible amount of experience in her first season of collegiate golf and will be one of the top candidates to be a consistent member of the Seminoles' line-up for the remainder of her career...played in 10 of the Seminoles' 11 events as a freshman and displayed her outstanding promise for the final three years of her Seminole career...earned a spot in Florida State's line-up for the NCAA East Regional Championship at SouthWood Golf Club in Tallahassee...played in all four of the Seminoles' matches in the fall of 2013 and in six of their seven matches in the spring of 2014...Florida State's third leading golfer with a 75.59 stroke average as a freshman...one of only five Seminoles to play in 10 or more events during the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 seasons...missed playing in only one event during her first season...career-bests for a single round (69), for 36- holes (144) and for a three-round tournament (215) came in the Web.com/Marsh Landing Intercollegiate during the spring of 214...pair of top-10 finishes also came in the spring of 2014 at the Florida Challenge (tied for fifth) and in the Web.com/Marsh Landing Intercollegiate (tied for sixth)...a member of the Colombian National Team who, with the addition of playing in 10 events during her freshman season as a Seminoles, brings a great deal of experience to the Seminoles' line-up in 2014-15...biggest strengths are her short game and her ability to get the ball into the hole...a great teammate who possesses a great personality and a tremendous work ethic...averaged 75.59 strokes in 20 rounds during 10 events during her freshman season...

Personal: Born July 28, 1994...Anna Sophia is the daughter of Elvira Vallejo and Harold Böhmer...began playing golf at age eight and began playing in competitive tournaments at age 10...also grew up playing tennis...lists Rory McIlroy as her favorite golfer and Yani Tseng (a Chinese golfer who has won five major tournaments) as one of her mentors...Florida State was her first collegiate visit and she knew on her visit that Florida State was the school for her...Selected Florida State over Auburn, Tulane, Florida, Georgia, San Diego State and Mississippi State...major is business.

On The Golf Course With Anna Sophia Böhmer: My favorite golf movie is Happy Gilmore.: My favorite golf book is The Golfers Mind by Bob Rotella.: My favorite course is Dinah Shore Tournament Course, home to The Kraft Nabisco Championship.: In my golf career I have only made one hole in one. I did it in a practice round with my 7-wood when I was 13 years old at Country Club of Pereira, Colombia.: My favorite thing about the sport of golf is that is a battle against myself and I have control of my game.: Before playing competitive golf, I used to play tennis.:While traveling in the FSU golf van I like to either listen to music, watch a movie or talk with my teammates.: The best advice I have ever been given about the game of golf is that you only have control of the shot you have in front of you.
