Silva Leads Golf Team

Florida State University junior Macarena Silva finished in a tie for 10th place in the individual standings to lead the Seminoles to a 10th place finish in the team standings as play in the inaugural Kinderlou Forest Challenge at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club came to a close.

Silva Leads Women's Golf Team

Seminole junior Macarena Silva is in a tie for 17th place and the Florida State women's golf team is in 11th place after the first day of the Inaugural Kinderlou Challenge at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.

The No. 26 ranked Florida State women's golf team will play in its second tournament of the spring season as it travels to play in the inaugural Kinderlou Forest Challenge at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Course in Valdosta, Ga., March 1-2, 2010.

Golden Named Interim Golf...

Kate Golden, a 14-year LPGA Professional who won the 2001 LPGA State Farm Classic, has been named the Interim Women's Golf Coach at Florida State as announced by FSU Director Athletics Randy Spetman.
