It seems like only yesterday that the Florida State women's basketball team was dancing around Maples Pavilion celebrating its victory over Stanford to advance to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The 2007-08 edition is loaded with talent and ready to make another run deep into March and fans can reserve tickets starting October 1 when 2007-08 season tickets go on sale.

Season tickets are only $20 for adults and $10 for children and seniors. To reserve yours, call the Florida State ticket off at 850-644-1830 or 1-888-FSU-NOLE.

"The excitement for FSU women's basketball continues to build," Florida State head coach Sue Semrau said. "Our program has a fabulous group of fans. We had a blast filming the television commercial this summer. We're looking forward to the same kind of fun and excitement on the basketball court this season!"

In August, the Florida State football team wasn't the only ones preparing for a long day in the hot Tallahassee sun. Members of the women's basketball coaching staff, players, the Seminole Sound, cheerleaders and many fans also braved the heat to shoot the 2007-08 women's basketball commercial. After dodging early raindrops, the shoot went off without a hitch despite the heat index reaching 110 degrees.

"I just want to thank all the fans that came out to help with the commercial shoot. It was very hot out there and they were real troopers," said Brent DiGiacomo, Assistant Director of Marketing.

The commercial wil debut on October 1 throughout the Tallahassee market.

Last season Florida State sold a record 2,010 season tickets, an increase of 48 percent from the year before. The Seminoles set a single-game record as 4,732 fans attended last year's Maryland game.
