TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - LaTonya Blue scored 24 points and Virginia upset No. 24 Florida State 77-62 Monday night, handing the Seminoles their second straight loss.

Takisha Granberry had 15 points and Jocelyn Logan-Friend added 11 for the Cavaliers (16-5, 5-2 Atlantic Coast Conference). Brandi Teamer had a game-high 16 rebounds.

Roneeka Hodges pulled the Seminoles to 41-37, but the Cavaliers used a 17-2 run midway through the second half to hand Florida State consecutive losses for the first time this season.

Ganiyat Adeduntan led the Seminoles (18-4, 5-3) with 18 points and Alicia Gladden had 16. Hodges, who was averaging 23.1 points in ACC games, was held to 11.

The Cavaliers took a 29-27 halftime lead despite 14 turnovers. Adeduntan made a jumper to open the second half. Blue followed with a basket, the 1,000th point of her career, and Virginia never trailed.

The Seminoles shot 36.1 percent for the game and lost for the 26th time in 30 games against Virginia. The Cavaliers outrebounded Florida State 47-30.
