THE 4-1 RECORD FSU's 4-1 ACC record is the program's best league start in the program's history. The record also places the Seminoles in sole possession of third place in the league. With a win over Virginia, FSU would move into a tie for second place with North Carolina.
11 OR MORE Nine of FSU's 12 wins have been by 11 or more points. The Seminoles have proven that they can win the close games as they are 3-0 in games decided by nine or less points.
BLOCK IT TO 'EM FSU has recorded seven blocks in two games this year. In fact, FSU has had four or more blocks in 11 games this season and already has 68 on the year for an average of 4.3 per game. The Tribe had 62 in 28 games last year. The most blocks FSU has had in a season is 129 in 1997-98.
A WIN OVER VIRGINIA WOULD... ...give FSU a 5-1 ACC record for the first time ever. ...give FSU one more ACC win than last year. ...give FSU its 13th win of the year - matching last year's total.
