TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 22-ranked Florida State women's basketball team travels to Chestnut Hill, Mass., to face Boston College on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Silvio O. Conte Forum.

The Seminoles (13-3, 3-2 in the ACC) will be looking for a sweep of the Eagles after defeating Boston College in their ACC opener, 76-70, on Dec. 30 in Tallahassee.

The Eagles (8-7, 2-2) won a pair of ACC road games last week, defeating Virginia Tech, 53-46, and Clemson, 66-43. Kristen Doherty and Katie Zenevitch led BC against the Tigers, scoring 18 points apiece.

Boston College leads the ACC in three-pointer made, nailing 7.0 per game.

"Boston College shoots the ball well," Florida State head coach Sue Semrau said. "They have so many weapons. I'm sure both teams will make some adjustments from our strategy for the first game. It will be a tough matchup."

Senior guard Alexa Deluzio recorded her first career double-double (25 points, 12 boards) for the Seminoles in the win over BC earlier this season. The 5-11 Orlando, Fla., native also notched her career high of 28 points against the Eagles last season in Chestnut Hill, draining six three-pointers in a 68-59 win at the Conte Forum.

The Seminoles ended a two-game losing streak in a big way on Sunday, routing No. 24 Miami, 86-65, at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee. Senior forward Chelsea Davis recorded her third career double-double with 13 points and 13 boards, while senior guard Leonor Rodriguez scored 21 points and junior forward Natasha Howard added 20 points.

The Seminole rank fourth in the nation in scoring (81.9) and field goal percentage (.489) and are the only team in the nation with five players averaging double figures in scoring.

"This team is a joy to be around," Semrau said. "It's going fast with this group. They are continuing to get better and better. When I see that growth and improvement, it's extremely exciting."
