Scouting NC State
NC State enters Sunday's contest having won 4 of its last 5, but dropped an 83-66 decision at Boston College a week ago.
The Wolfpack are led by the trio of Bonae Holston, Nikitta Gartrell and Marissa Kastanek who are all averaging more than 10 points per game.
NC State is dangerous when it gets to the charity stripe as the Wolfpack are connecting on 71.8 percent of their free throws, ranking second in the ACC.
Following an impressive 28-point win at home against Maryland in their ACC opener the Wolfpack fell at Boston College four days later. NC State is 2-4 in road game this year.
Last Time Out
Jacinta Monroe scored 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting, Ward had three 3-pointers for 11 points and the Seminoles defeated Clemson, 80-50, for the 14th time in 15 meetings.
The 30-point win was the largest in the series for the Seminoles.
For the ninth time this season FSU had four different scorers in double-figures.
The Seminoles led by as many 21 points in the first half.
Up Next For The Seminoles
The Seminoles will continue a three-game homestand on Thursday when they host Harvard in the final non-conference game of the year. It will be just the second meeting between the two teams as FSU claimed a 96-82 win at home during the 2003-04 season.
