TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Another home game; another tough-to-get ticket.

The No. 15/17 Florida State men's basketball team hosts Miami Saturday at 1 p.m. and the game is quickly approaching sell-out status. A week after packing the Donald L. Tucker Center for FSU's game against then-No. 16 Virginia, fans that attend the game Saturday will see a Seminoles (16-7, 7-2 ACC) squad looking to start a new winning streak and end that of their rival's.

Florida State's school-record seven-game Atlantic Coast Conference winning streak may have come to an end Wednesday night at Boston College but after Duke beat North Carolina on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, the Seminoles are still in first place in the conference.

The Hurricanes (15-7, 6-3), however, are making a surge to the top as they have won five straight and six of their last seven after starting 0-2 in the ACC. Like the 'Noles did on their extended streak of triumphs, Miami took down the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor in Durham, N.C.

"They're the hot team right now," senior guard Deividas Dulkys said. "They're playing very well together. They have a good inside-out game, they have great shooters, great penetrators … I mean they're good."

FSU will be looking to bounce back after the unexpected setback up north. Boston College earned the 64-60 upset despite losing its previous six games and sitting at the bottom of the ACC standings.

The Seminoles didn't shoot particularly well in that loss while the Eagles got hot from the outside and held on for what was FSU's first defeat in 32 days. If Florida State is going to start a new winning streak, and in the process halt Miami's, the recipe is simple.

"We've got to play together," Dulkys said. "We are going to have to execute offensively and defensively. We've got to know what coach gives us, what schemes we have to do and we have to play as a team."

"We've got to make sure we just don't have that letdown; don't let it happen," junior guard Michael Snaer said. "We know [the Hurricanes] are a good team."
