Dave Guerra

2000:Dave was the No. 1 runner at the ACC Championships and NCAA South Regional Championships and was named the team's MVP. At the South Regional Championships, he placed 22nd overall and earned All-Region honors. Guerra was the first Seminole to earn that honor since Aaron Scheer in 1998. Personal:He came back to running after taking four years off while serving a tour of duty in the Air Force. This cross country season was Guerra’s first since his freshmen year in high school, eight years ago. He graduated from Vallejo High School where he ran personal records of 9:21 for 3200m and 4:20 for 1600m. He also earned an AA degree in communications from Gulf Coast Community College. Guerra is majoring in public relations.
