TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Four members of the Florida State men's tennis team compete at the ITA Men's All-American Championships beginning Monday in the qualifying draw of singles. The tournament is being held at the University of Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
To advance to the main draw, the Seminoles must reach the final eight of the draw containing 128 competitors.
"This is an event we look forward to every year," said head coach Dwayne Hultquist. "Our goal is to make a run in qualifying to have someone in the main draw. Right now we already have someone in the main draw of doubles which is a huge honor."
Tomorrow the Seminoles start with junior Dominic Cotrone playing a lucky loser from the finals of Sunday's Pre-Qualifying Draw at 11:00 a.m. Next up for Florida State is sophomore Marco Nunez against Mate Zsiga of Baylor at 2:00 p.m.
